Best Brunches In Arlington, VA | Where To Brunch In Arlington

We all know that DC brunches hard (and we can attest to this personally), but why limit yourself to the city?  Arlington has some great offerings that provide a change of scenery as well as some delicious dishes and boozy concoctions:

Oz Restaurant & Bar

Best Brunches In Arlington, VA | Oz Restaurant & Bar

Oz Restaurant & Bar provides a unique offering to the Clarendon scene, which is comprised mostly of national and local chain restaurants.  This relatively new addition to the area serves up modern Australian cuisine infused with American flavors.  Curious about what exactly “Australian cuisine” is?  If you’ve spent any time in Australia yourself or know an Australian (like owner Michael Darby), you’ll learn that Australian cuisine is a true melting pot of global influences with a few uniquely Aussie dishes thrown in.  Aussies are crazy about everything from traditional Chicken Parm to Burgers, but one of our favorite offerings is Oz’s bottomless brunch.  For just $35 diners enjoy an unlimited offering of brunch dishes (no skimpy portions here) as well as penny mimosas, .50 cent beers and $2 bloody marys.  The bottomless brunch deal provides a perfect opportunity to sample a little of everything and narrow in on some favorites that will keep you coming back any day of the week.

What To Order: The Avocado Toast is a trendy favorite done very well, the Chicken & Donuts is a deliciously unique take on the chicken and waffles brunch staple, and if you’re feeling extra adventurous, you can even give the camel and kangaroo sliders a try!

Tupelo Honey

Celebrated for its traditional, down-home Southern cuisine and commitment to responsibly, locally sourced ingredients, Tupelo Honey Cafe is the perfect place to seek out a brunch experience that leaves you feeling good in more than one way.  In addition to their feel-good food, the 9oz Mega Mimosa and 20oz “The Queen” Bloody Mary are sure to assist in letting the good times roll.  If you’re looking for a less-traditional brunch cocktail, you’ll be ticked (and pickled) to find a handful of additional options including the Honeysuckle & Lavender Flip and the Tupelo Margarita.  While the restaurant itself is relatively spacious, take the time to make a reservation in advance as the restaurant fills up quickly, particularly for the brunch crowd.

What To Order: Start with a taste of the (complimentary) biscuits and blueberry jam, but save room for customer favorites such as the Eggs Betty (Eggs Benedict with a Southern accent), the Fried Chicken & Biscuits and the Shoo Mercy Omelet.

What To Order: The Steak & Eggs Benedict is arguably the most popular item on the brunch menu, though the Lump Crab Cake & Eggs is a strong contender.  If you’re more inclined toward sweeter brunch items, the Brioche French Toast will surely hit the spot!
