Apartments in the Twin Cities
Off-campus and student apartments across Minneapolis and St. Paul, organized around campus, neighborhood, and transit.
The Twin Cities rental market runs on the academic calendar and the METRO Green Line, which connects downtown Minneapolis to downtown St. Paul directly through the University of Minnesota. Start with your campus or program, then narrow by neighborhood, lease type, and transit access.
Start with your campus
The fastest way to narrow a Twin Cities search is to start from where you need to be each day. The University of Minnesota spans the East Bank and West Bank in Minneapolis and a separate campus in St. Paul, and the right neighborhood depends on which one you are commuting to.

How the Green Line ties it together
The METRO Green Line runs from downtown Minneapolis to downtown St. Paul and stops at West Bank, East Bank, Stadium Village, Prospect Park, Westgate, and Raymond Avenue. The free Campus Connector and Route 121 link the Minneapolis and St. Paul campuses, so one address can serve more than one part of the university.
Transferring in through a partner college? The MnCAP transfer housing pillar shows how to choose housing once, on the Green Line that serves your community college now and your U of M campus after you transfer.
