Summer Festivals In Columbus

Festival season is here and there are plenty to choose from in Columbus!

Whether you’re looking for tasty food, live music, or just good people watching, these 10 events are some of the best around. But don’t take our word for it. See them for yourself!

Columbus Arts Festival
Produced by the Greater Columbus Arts Council, this fest hosts hundreds of juried artists from across the United States, as well as several international artists.

Columbus PRIDE Festival
With a plethora of events and entertainers, as well as an incredible parade, this is considered the best Pride in the Midwest.

Founded in 1972, this is the nation’s largest independent, volunteer-run festival. Expect live performances, food and drink, and a variety of vendors. (It takes place in Goodale Park, a short walk from 40 West.)

Dublin Irish Festival
You don’t need to hail from the Emerald Isle to appreciate this three-day Irish festival featuring an array of cultural activities, from dancing to darts. (Karric Place of Dublin is just minutes from the fest’s home, Coffman Park.)

Greek Festival
Experience the culture and ancestry of Greece during this annual Labor Day Weekend tradition. (It’s held at The Annunciation Greek Orthodox Cathedral in the Short North near The Prescott.)

Independents’ Day
This fairly new festival was established to celebrate and develop independent culture, commerce and creativity.

Jazz & Rib Fest
Celebrate summer with hot ribs and cool jazz. Award-winning barbecue teams compete for “Best Ribs” bragging rights, and renowned international and local musicians perform live.

Ohio State Fair
There’s something for everyone at the fair: live music by rock and country artists, agricultural exhibits and competitions, outrageous foods (including a cow sculpture made of butter), rides and more.

Red, White & BOOM
As the name suggests, this Independence Day celebration centers around a massive fireworks display.

Urban Scrawl
During this fest, Columbus artists create murals live, giving attendees the chance to view the pieces at all stages of completion.
